Terms of Service
1. Who we are (legal notice)
Tibelu (tibelu.com) is a service run by:
- Company: Bebabum Consulting SLU (a Spanish single-member limited company)
- NIF (Spanish tax ID): B66950221
- Registered address: Carrer de Floridablanca 75, 08015 Barcelona, Spain
- Commercial Registry: Registro Mercantil de Barcelona
- General contact: hello@bebabum.com
- Legal and privacy contact: legal@bebabum.com
- Company website: bebabum.com
This information is given under Article 10 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (Ley 34/2002, LSSI-CE). In these Terms, "we", "us" and "Bebabum" mean Bebabum Consulting SLU. "You" means the person who uses Tibelu.
2. About these Terms
These Terms of Service are the contract between you and us for the use of Tibelu. Please read them before you create an account. When you create an account you confirm that you accept these Terms.
These documents also apply and are part of the contract:
- Privacy Policy: how we use your personal data.
- Cookie Policy: the cookies we use.
- AI Transparency: how our AI companions work, their limits and our safety rules.
The contract is available in English only. We keep a record of the version of these Terms you accepted and the date. You can read the current version at any time at /legal/terms/ and save or print it from your browser.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.
3. What Tibelu is
Tibelu is a web app where you can chat with AI companions. Each companion is a fictional character created by us. Her name, story, photos and social media account are invented. She is not a real person and no human writes her replies.
- Replies are generated by an artificial intelligence model. See AI Transparency for details.
- Companions remember your conversation. We store your messages and a short "memory" summary of each conversation so the companion can keep the context.
- Tibelu is a safe-for-work service. It does not offer sexual content.
- Some companions are shown as "Arriving soon". They are not available yet and we do not promise a date.
4. Who can use Tibelu
- You must be 18 years old or older. You give us your date of birth when you sign up and you confirm it is true.
- You may have one account only. Your account is personal. Do not share it or sell it.
- The information you give us must be true and up to date.
- If there are signs during a chat that you are under 18, the conversation is stopped. We may suspend or close the account and ask you to confirm your age.
- You must not use Tibelu if the law of your country does not allow you to use this kind of service.
5. Your account
- We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account unless it was not your fault.
- Tell us at once at legal@bebabum.com if you think someone else is using your account.
- You can download your data at any time from your account (data export in JSON format).
- You can delete your account at any time from your account. This deletes your account and all your conversations. It cannot be undone.
6. House rules
When you use Tibelu, you must not:
- try to get sexual or sexually explicit content from a companion;
- create, request or share any content that sexualises minors, or present a companion or yourself as a minor in a sexual or romantic context;
- use hate speech, or harass, threaten or bully anyone, including real people you mention in a chat;
- use Tibelu for anything illegal, or to plan, promote or get help with illegal acts, violence or self-harm of others;
- try to "jailbreak" a companion, that is, use tricks or instructions to make her break her rules or our safety limits;
- try to get the hidden instructions, code or settings of the service;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to access Tibelu, copy content in bulk, or get around the daily message limit;
- attack, overload or try to get unauthorised access to the service or other accounts;
- pretend to be another person, or create more than one account;
- use the replies to mislead other people, for example by presenting them as written by a real person;
- resell or offer Tibelu or its content to others without our written permission.
The model provider we use also has rules for acceptable use. Breaking them through Tibelu is a breach of these Terms too.
7. Not professional advice
Companions are fictional characters for conversation and entertainment. They are not therapists, doctors, lawyers, financial advisers or any other professional. Do not use Tibelu for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and do not make important decisions based only on what a companion says. AI replies can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US) or a crisis line. Our crisis protocol and a list of helplines are on the AI Transparency page.
8. Alpha version and free use
- Tibelu is in an alpha phase. This means it is new, still being tested and may change often.
- During the alpha, Tibelu is free. We do not charge you anything and you cannot buy a plan yet, even if plans are shown on the site.
- To control costs, free use is limited to 50 messages from you per day. We may change this limit. We will show the current limit in the app.
- The service may have errors, pauses or periods when it is not available. We will try to fix problems quickly, but during the free alpha we do not guarantee any level of availability.
- We will tell you before the alpha ends and before any paid feature starts. Paid plans will only apply to you if you choose to buy one.
9. Paid plans (when available)
This section will apply only when paid plans are available and only if you buy one. Until then, nothing in this section creates a charge.
| Plan | Price (EUR, VAT included) | Renews every |
|---|---|---|
| Week | 4.99 € | 7 days |
| Month | 14.99 € | 1 month |
| Year | 99.99 € | 12 months |
- What you get: before you pay, the checkout page will show you clearly what each plan includes, the total price, the taxes and the renewal period.
- Automatic renewal: plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the price in force, and we charge the payment method you gave us, until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time: you can cancel from your account in a few clicks. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Price changes: if we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you. You can cancel before the new price applies. If you do not cancel, the new price applies from your next renewal.
- Taxes: prices include VAT. If the tax in your country is different, the checkout will show the final price before you pay.
- Payment provider: payments will be processed by a specialised payment provider. If the provider is Paddle, Paddle.com Market Limited will act as the seller of record ("merchant of record") of your plan: you will buy the plan from Paddle, Paddle will charge you, issue your invoice and handle taxes, and Paddle's buyer terms will also apply to the purchase. Your use of Tibelu will still be governed by these Terms. If the provider is Stripe, you will buy the plan from us and Stripe will only process the payment for us.
- Order confirmation: after each purchase we will send you a confirmation by email with the details of your plan and these Terms.
10. Your right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days from the day you buy it, without giving any reason.
- If you ask us to start at once: at checkout you can ask us to give you access to the paid plan immediately, during the 14-day period. If you do this and then withdraw, you will pay only a proportional amount for the days you could use the plan, and we will refund the rest.
- Digital content: for digital content delivered to you at once (for example, items that will be offered in the future), you lose your right of withdrawal when delivery starts, but only if you gave your express consent to immediate delivery and confirmed that you know you lose this right (Article 103(m) of the Spanish Consumer Act, TRLGDCU). We will ask you for this consent at checkout and confirm it by email.
- How to withdraw: use the withdrawal option in your account or send a clear statement to legal@bebabum.com. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your message before the 14 days end.
- Refund: we will refund you within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal, using the same payment method, unless you agree otherwise. You will not pay any fee for the refund.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract):
To: Bebabum Consulting SLU, Carrer de Floridablanca 75, 08015 Barcelona, Spain, legal@bebabum.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: Tibelu plan [name of plan]
Ordered on: [date]
Name of consumer: [name]
Email of the Tibelu account: [email]
Date: [date]
11. Refunds and chargebacks
- Apart from the right of withdrawal and your legal rights when the service is faulty, payments for a period already started are not refunded when you cancel. You keep access until the end of that period.
- If the service does not work as promised, you have the legal rights explained in section 15. Write to us first and we will try to solve it quickly.
- If you ask your bank to reverse a payment (a "chargeback") without a valid reason, for example without contacting us first, we may suspend your account while the dispute is open. This does not limit your right to dispute a payment that you did not authorise or that was wrong.
12. Features coming soon
Tibelu shows some features as "coming soon", such as tokens, gifts and a members' gallery. They are not available yet. When we launch them, we will publish their specific conditions and ask you to accept them before you use them.
13. Your messages
- Your messages belong to you. We do not claim ownership of them.
- You give us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to store, process and send your messages (including to our AI provider) and to create the conversation memory, only to run Tibelu for you, keep it safe and comply with the law. This licence ends when you delete your account, except for copies we must keep by law (see the Privacy Policy).
- You are responsible for what you write. Do not share content that you do not have the right to share, or other people's personal data without a good reason.
- The replies of the companions are generated for you to read and enjoy in Tibelu. You may keep and share short extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use them to train other AI models or for commercial purposes without our permission.
14. Our intellectual property
The Tibelu name and logo, the companions (their names, personalities, stories and images), the texts, design, software and all other elements of the service belong to Bebabum Consulting SLU or are used with permission. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Tibelu under these Terms. You may not copy, change, distribute or exploit any of these elements without our written permission, except where the law allows it.
15. The service, its quality and changes
- We provide Tibelu with reasonable care and skill. If you are a consumer and have paid for a plan, you have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services under consumer law (in Spain, the TRLGDCU). If the paid service is not as described, you can ask us to fix it, and if we cannot, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract.
- We may improve or change Tibelu, for example to add or remove companions, change features or update the AI model. If a change has a significant negative effect on a paid plan you have, we will tell you in advance and you can end the contract and receive a refund of the unused part.
- Companions are AI. Their replies may be inaccurate or unexpected. We work to keep them within our rules, but we cannot check every reply before you see it.
16. Moderation, suspension and complaints
- We use automated systems to detect risk (for example, signs of a crisis, of a minor, or of attempts to break the rules). Some messages are marked for human review by our team. See the AI Transparency page.
- If you break these Terms, we may, in proportion to how serious it is: refuse to reply to a message, stop a conversation, limit your use, suspend your account or close it.
- When we restrict or close your account, we will tell you by email or in the app, with a clear statement of the reasons: what we did, the facts, the rule broken, whether the decision was automated, and how you can complain. We may not do this when the law forbids it or when the risk is very serious (for example, a threat to someone's life or the protection of minors).
- Complaints: if you disagree with a decision, write to legal@bebabum.com within 6 months. A person (not only an automated system) will review it and answer you without undue delay. You can also use any other remedy the law gives you, including the courts.
- If we close your account for a serious breach, you may not open a new one.
17. Liability
- We are responsible for damage we cause when we break this contract or the law, as set out by applicable law.
- We are not responsible for: losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach; the way you use the replies of a companion, against the warnings in these Terms; problems caused by your device, your internet connection or events outside our reasonable control; or your breach of these Terms.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, for gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
- If you are not a consumer, and as far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, or 100 € if you paid nothing.
18. Ending the contract
- You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first or it will be cancelled when the account is deleted. The withdrawal and refund rules above still apply.
- We may end the contract for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms (see section 16). We may also stop offering Tibelu for any reason with at least 30 days' notice. If we do and you have a paid plan, we will refund the part you have paid but cannot use.
- Before your account is closed, you can download your data from your account, unless the closure is due to a very serious breach or a legal reason.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for valid reasons: changes in the law, in the service, in our providers, or for safety. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies, and explain what changes. If you do not agree, you can delete your account (and cancel your plan) before the change applies, with a refund of the unused part of a paid period. Small changes that do not harm you (for example, corrections or clearer wording) apply when we publish them. The date and version at the top of this page always show the current version.
20. Transfer of Tibelu to another company
We plan to move Tibelu to a new company. We may transfer this contract, with all our rights and duties, to a company that belongs to the same owner as Bebabum Consulting SLU, or to a company that takes over Tibelu. If we do this:
- we will tell you at least 30 days before, by email or in the app, with the name and details of the new company;
- the new company will take our place in the contract and your rights will not be reduced because of the transfer;
- your account and personal data will move to the new company, as explained in the Privacy Policy;
- if you do not agree, you can download your data and delete your account before the transfer, with a refund of the unused part of any paid plan.
You may not transfer your account or this contract to anyone else.
21. Applicable law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable European Union law.
- If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence.
- If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence or before the courts of Barcelona (Spain). If we bring a claim against a consumer, we can only do so before the courts of the consumer's place of residence.
- If you are not a consumer, the courts of Barcelona (Spain) have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Before going to court, please write to us at legal@bebabum.com. We will try to solve the issue by agreement. At present we are not a member of any consumer arbitration system or alternative dispute resolution body. The European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025. If you are a consumer in Spain, you can also contact your local consumer office (Oficina Municipal de Información al Consumidor or the consumer agency of your region).
22. Contact and points of contact
- Questions, help and complaints: hello@bebabum.com or the Help page.
- Legal matters, privacy, reports of illegal content and complaints about moderation: legal@bebabum.com.
- Single point of contact for users and for authorities (EU Digital Services Act, Articles 11 and 12, to the extent they apply to Tibelu): legal@bebabum.com. You can write to us in English or Spanish.
- Post: Bebabum Consulting SLU, Carrer de Floridablanca 75, 08015 Barcelona, Spain.
These Terms of Service are version 1.0, prepared for the alpha version of Tibelu.
